Chance of snow showers in St. Lawrence County tonight, early tomorrow; sun to return Saturday

A cold front is expected to bring clouds into the area Thursday night and into Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Limited precipitation in the form of snow is possible, particularly in high elevations, the service says.

A high pressure system will bring fair conditions and sunny skies Saturday, according to the service.

• Tonight A chance of rain and snow showers before 2am, then snow showers likely. Increasing clouds, with a low around 32. South wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

• Friday A chance of rain and snow showers before 10am, then a slight chance of rain showers between 10am and 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.
