A chance of snow will linger in the North Country tonight through Friday before the sky clears for Friday night and a sunny Saturday, the National Weather Service predicts.

And it looks as though temperatures will remain above zero for a while, at least through the day on Monday, according to the latest NWS forecast.

Tonight, the thermometer will not get below the mid-teens, and overnight lows through the weekend will be in the single digits, while high temperatures Friday and Saturday will approach 20 degrees.

The chance of snow through Friday will not rise above 30 percent, and new accumulations will not be significant, the weather service promises.

• Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 7. Wind chill values as low as -9. Southwest wind 14 to 16 mph.
