Unsettled conditions are forecast across the North Country through the next week, which according to the National Weather Service means rain is expected to be a significant feature of St. Lawrence County’s weather through Saturday night before skies clear off for Sunday and Sunday night.

The chance of rain is pegged at 50 percent tonight, 70 percent Saturday, and 50 percent Saturday night, with the heaviest rainfall expected Saturday night.

Daytime high temperatures cool to the 50s on Saturday and the 40s on Sunday, and overnight lows drop into the 30s Saturday night and possibly below 30 Sunday night.

The extended outlook: rain could return Monday night and Tuesday.
