POTSDAM -- Cardiologist Dr. David Bass has joined the medical staff of St. Lawrence Health System’s Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Dr. Bass earned his medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is certified in internal medicine, adult echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
He completed his residency through SUNY Downstate Department of Internal Medicine, and received his training at University Hospital of Brooklyn, King’s County Hospital Center, and Brooklyn Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
He has published several medical articles, and is a member of the American College of Cardiology. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Georgian.
As a cardiologist, Bass has expertise in all areas of adult cardiology, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, adult congenital heart disease, arrhythmias, preventative cardiology, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, SLHS said.
