MASSENA -- Village police say charges are pending against one of the drivers involved in a collision that injured five people on Monday.
On Monday afternoon, a vehicle driven by Amy Gambaccini, 25, collided with a vehicle operated by Cathy Coughenor, 60, of Brasher Falls, police said.
Gambaccini's vehicle was also occupied by four children in the back seat, ages 2, 2, 4 and 11. Veronica Gillespie, 28, was in the front seat.
All three adults and two of the children were transported to Massena Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing and charges are pending, police said.
