STOCKHOLM -- A Potsdam woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a reported property-damage accident early Wednesday morning, according to state police.
Troopers said they responded to a reported accident shortly after midnight on U.S. Highway 11.
During their investigation, police discovered the driver of the vehicle, Gema M. Bicknell, 23, to be the driver.
Bicknell was reportedly charged with first-offense DWI at 12:45 a.m.
She was released on appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date, officers said.
