OGDENSBURG – Antique motorcycles and snowmobiles will be featured at this year’s 12th “Car-B-Que” presented by the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce Saturday, June 13.

“Last year we had about 60 cars at the event…a lot of it hinges on weather and other classic car shows around the area,” said event organized Lee Jones.

The event starts with a classic car parade at 11 a.m.

The parade begins at Walmart and moves along Ford Street, ending at the Dobisky Visitors Center. Participating vehicles lineup at 10 a.m.

All cars will be on display following the parade at the city marina until 4 p.m.

“We get people from all over the state as well as from car clubs in Canada,” Jones said.

The 10th Mountain Division Band, Avalanche, will perform throughout the afternoon starting around noon.

Judges will award trophies in several categories including best of show, people's choice, ladies' choice and president's choice, plus 20 other categories including best street rod, best flames, best 50s car, best classic, and more.

Admission is free. There will be a variety of vendors selling their wares, a grill raffle, food and beverages.

The cost to register a vehicle is $8.

There is no fee to display antique motorcycles and snowmobiles in the marina.

“We had a few motorcycles and snowmobiles last year and we are hoping to build on that,” Jones said.

For registration information, call the chamber at 393-3620.
