OGDENSBURG -- A grand opening celebrated Cape Air's new Ogdensburg ticket office at 318 Ford Street Monday.

Northeast Marketing Manager at Cape Air Jacqueline Donohoo, a Massachusetts Airline that offers flights from the Ogdensburg and Massena Airports, said the office opened in May.

Mayor William Nelson and members of the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce attended the event.

Donohoo said the office employs two part-time employees and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

It is also open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dohonoo said customers can also purchase tickets online at CapeAir.com, Expedia.com, JetBlue.com, or at the Ogdensburg International Airport.

She said Cape Air opened the downtown ticket office in order to embed itself in the community.

"Our goal in any community we serve is to become part of the community," she said. "We see this as an opportunity to become closer with Ogdensburg."
