CANTON -- The final edits of Canton’s Master Trail Plan are being reviewed and the town expects a finalized plan to be available sometime next month, said Town Councilman Bob Washo at the town board meeting June 13.
A draft of the plan was presented at a public hearing several weeks ago and was available for public view and comment on the town website for several weeks after.
It details various trail initiatives designed to connect existing non-motorized hiking, biking, walking, skiing and snowshoe trails in various areas of the town.
The board is expected to review and adopt the final version once presented.
