PARISHVILLE — A Canton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a reported property-damage accident on State Highway 72 Thursday night, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Fallon K. King, 24, lost control of her vehicle around 8 p.m., exited the right shoulder and reentered the roadway before exiting on the right again and coming to rest in the ditch, deputies said.
King fled the scene on foot but was located by deputies a short distance away.
She allegedly has a blood-alcohol content of .17 percent.
King was issued tickets returnable to Parishville court at a later date.
