MADRID — A Canton woman was charged Aug. 3 with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a property-damage accident on CR 14, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Tammy J. Stevenson, 41, was charged following a report of a vehicle that had struck a speed zone sign and damaged a lawn at a home on the road, officers said.
During an interview with Stevenson, deputies determined that she was operating the vehicle under the influence of narcotics.
No injuries were reported.
Stevenson was issued tickets and released.
