CANTON -- The Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service will hold the annual local work group meeting Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at the USDA Service Center, 1942 Old DeKalb Rd.
The group will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues in the community and provide information and feedback for conservation service programs.
Participants can be agricultural producers, owners of non-industrial private forestland, representatives of agricultural or environmental organizations, or representatives of governmental agencies carrying out environmental, agricultural, or natural resource conservation programs.
