CANTON -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Afterhours Clinic has changed its hours effective Tuesday, Dec. 1.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Afterhours Clinic is located in the E. J. Noble Professional Building, 80 East Main St., and is led by Andrew LaFrance, NP, and other experienced practitioners in comprehensive family health issues.
It offers one-time walk-in care services for earaches, rashes without fever, sprains, infections, abdominal pain without bleeding, and other conditions that are do not require emergency care. The clinic does not act as a patient’s primary care provider (PCP), but can make referrals if patients are not already established with one.
The clinic does not provide emergency care. If residents are experiencing an emergency, they should dial 911.
They are closed on major holidays. During storm emergencies, residents should watch Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s official Facebook page for announcements regarding early closures. For more information, contact the Afterhours Clinic at 386-3300.
