POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital marked what they call "National Food Service Week," Oct. 3-9, recognizing the food service staff "for their dedication in ensuring that patients, visitors, and employees are served a variety of balanced, well prepared meals and snack items," according to hospital officials.

They have rolled out a new patient and café menu, a new point-of-sale system, and process improvement initiatives.

Some staff have had long careers in food service: Gloria Shea, 42 years, Tari Lallier, 32 years and Sandy Mallory, 30 years.

Enquiries relating to hospital food service can be made to Director of Food and Nutrition Donna Wilson, at 261-5348, or Clinical Nutritional Manager Lauren Smith.
