POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital marked what they call "National Food Service Week," Oct. 3-9, recognizing the food service staff "for their dedication in ensuring that patients, visitors, and employees are served a variety of balanced, well prepared meals and snack items," according to hospital officials.
They have rolled out a new patient and café menu, a new point-of-sale system, and process improvement initiatives.
Some staff have had long careers in food service: Gloria Shea, 42 years, Tari Lallier, 32 years and Sandy Mallory, 30 years.
