POTSDAM -- Kristin Tulip, who gave birth daughter Lainey at The Birthplace of Canton-Potsdam Hospital on Mother’s Day, was honored with a Mother’s Day basket full of goodies from the Potsdam Hospital Guild.
Lainey is a new sister for big brother Kirk.
The Potsdam Hospital Guild gives a basket of goodies to the first mom to give birth on Mother’s Day. Some of the contents include a baby’s first book and bath toys. The basket was prepared by Guild member Kim Jones.
The Potsdam Hospital Guild exists to support projects and programs benefitting patients of the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. It operates several fund-raising events throughout the year, including the annual Garden Tour, taking place in Colton and Hannawa Falls June 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., rain or shine.
