Sharlow was born and raised in Potsdam and is the son of Amy Sharlow. He has always had an interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement and attended Seaway Tech in Norwood for criminal justice. He plans to major in criminal justice at SUNY Canton in the fall. After SUNY Canton, he hopes to attend the David Sullivan-St. Lawrence County Law Enforcement Academy in Canton and then obtain employment in the law enforcement field.

Smith plans to attend Fulton-Montgomery Community College to major in film and then transfer to an arts school in California. A free-style dancer, he hopes to audition for the 2017 “So You Think You Can Dance” tv show. He is very appreciative of the support he has received from his friends, family and mother, Tina Smith, who is employed at North Country This Week.
