CANTON -- A Canton man was jailed after he was allegedly found with a variety of items that were allegedly stolen from vehicles.
Julian S. McLean was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a stolen property on Monday around 12:20 p.m., police said.
McLean, of 15 Commerce Lane, Apt. 7, was charged after he was allegedly found to be in possession of several items that were stolen from vehicles on Pine and Gouverneur streets on Friday and Saturday, police said.
He was arraigned by Canton Town Justice Cathleen O’Horo and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $5,000 cash of $10,000 bond.
There is an ongoing investigation, police said.
Officers say anyone who has not yet reported missing items from their vehicles during that time period can call Canton PD at 386-4561.
Canton Police say state parole officers assisted them with the case.
