CANTON -- A Canton man has been charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly pushed, slapped and kicked members of the household Friday.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies have charged Todd E. Bixby, 39, of 11 Jameson Rd. with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. They say he pushed one person, slapped a child's back, and kicked a child's ankle while calling the child names.
Bixby was arraigned before Canton Town Justice Curley. He was released to the supervision of the probation department. He will appear in court at a later date.
An order of protection was issued for both victims, deputies said.
