POTSDAM -- A Canton man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a property-damage accident on Racuette Road Sunday morning, according to Potsdam police.
Jeremiah J. Ayrassian, 35, was charged with first-offense aggravated DWI at 1:20 a.m. officers said.
Police said they responded to a reported motor vehicle accident and determined Ayrassian to be intoxicated.
He was reportedly transported to the Potsdam Police Department where a breathalyzer test revealed a .23 percent blood-alcohol content.
Aryrassian was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Potsdam court Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m., officers said.
