CANTON -- The Village and Town of Canton are surveying people to see what ideas they have for a redesign of their web site.
The Canton website is a shared service of the village and the town, and they are looking for input from all.
They would like to know, for instance, if you ever visit the Canton website – www. cantonnewyork.us – and if so, what are you looking for? If not, where do you get municipal information and information about the community?
Canton residents, visitors, business people, students - and even those who don’t currently live here but are interested in Canton information and activities – are invited to participate in the survey to collect data on who uses the shared municipal website and why – and who doesn’t and why not. The answers will help them plan and design a more useful municipal website.
The survey can be taken online at http://goo.gl/forms/wZzLWbIy7C.
The website design steering committee includes Town Councilman Jesse Coburn, Village Trustee Carol Pynchon, Website Manager Mark Mende, and Economic and Community Developers Leigh Rodriguez and Linda McQuinn.
People may contact any of them or email website@cantonny.us with questions.
