CANTON -- Warm fall days made for the perfect opportunity for these Canton junior fundraisers.
Abbie Metcalf and Meredith Ryan Jones took advantage of the sunshine and set up a lemonade stand.
Instead of using the earnings to buy themselves video games, a trip to the movies or other goodies, the girls opted to donate the money to United Helpers’ Maplewood Campus.
“The children donated their earnings toward a game for our residents to enjoy,” said Patience Boswell, Activities Leader for Maplewood Campus, who accepted the donation.
