CANTON – The Girl Scouts in Canton are forming new troops and seek adult volunteers to help form Daisy (K-1st), Brownie (2nd-3rd) and Junior (4th-5th) Troops.
Volunteers are encouraged to join a supportive team looking to provide a safe, informative and inclusive fellowship for local girls.
The new Girl Scout year begins Oct. 1 and typically runs through the school year. Duties would include helping to conduct troop meetings and attending some fun weekend events. Training is provided.
Interested adults do not need to have a child in Scouts to join.
