CANTON -- The youth group of the Canton First Presbyterian Church is teaming up with the Women Of Grace Widows‘ Fund to send Valentine’s Day greetings to Malawi, Africa this year.
For a donation to the Women Of Grace Widows’ Fund, the youth group will make a hand-made card. The card will be sent to the loved one of your choice notifying him or her that a gift has been made in their honor. Gifts made by Feb. 9 will be assured delivery by Valentine’s Day.
The Women Of Grace Widows’ Fund is a joint mission project of the Canton and Watertown Presbyterian Churches dedicated to alleviating the extreme poverty faced by widows in Malawi. For more information visit www.WomenOfGraceWidowsFund.org.
To have a Valentine’s Day card sent, make a donation of any amount to the First Presbyterian Church and note “Widows’ Fund/Valentine’s Day” on the memo line. Include the name and address of the person to whom the Valentine should be sent and how you want your name to appear on the card. The amount of your donation does not appear on the card.
For more information or to have a Valentine’s Day donation form mailed to you, contact Linda Potter at 386-4364 or nautilus@twcny.rr.com.
