CANTON -- Canton firefighters quelled a burning tractor trailer in the Price Chopper parking lot on Monday morning.
Fire and EMS crews were dispatched the report at 5:40 a.m., the fire department said.
“Crews quickly knocked down the fire, preventing any further extension, aided by additional personnel from Rescue 1 and Tanker 20,” the department said in a news release posted on their website.
No injuries were reported and the department was back in service at 7:07 a.m., the release said.
Other agencies assisting at the scene included state police, the county sheriff’s office and Canton police.
