CANTON -- Canton Day Care Center will receive $10,000 to support their second-floor expansion.
The expansion will increase the center’s capacity from 58 to 110 children, along with services for up to 52 additional families and create 14 new jobs. In total, the project will cost $400,000, which includes furnishings.
The cash, coming from Community Bank, will be paid in two portions, $5,000 this year and $5,000 in 2019, according to a news release from the bank.
Canton Day Care Center was established in 1977. It serves children from six weeks to 12 years old.
