Canton Cub Scout Pack 11 holding blanket drive through Dec. 10 to benefit local families

CANTON -- Canton Cub Scout Pack 11 is hosting a blanket drive through Dec. 10. The scouts will collect blankets to benefit the Church and Community Program and The Neighborhood Center.

Donations of new blankets can be dropped at the First Presbyterian Church in the Park, St. Mary's Catholic Church (at the ramp entrance to St. Mary's church where they receive food) or Canton United Methodist Church Tuesday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or Sunday mornings.

Blankets will be collected and then distributed.

Canton Cub Scout Pack 11 is a new pack chartered by the Canton United Methodist Church and is open to all boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
