CANTON – Members of the class of 1978 of Canton Hugh C. Williams High School donated $805 to the St. Lawrence Valley Hospice and Palliative Care in memory of their classmates.
Held this past summer at the “Hoot Owl” where the BBQ was provided by Fobare’s BBQ & Catering Co. of Renesselear Falls.
About 50 people attended the event. The class played a 50/50 raffle to donate the proveeds to a local charity of choice. Committee members chose Hospice
The theme song for their graduation was “Dust In the Wind”, which was dedicated with the lighting of candles and singing it to commemorate classmates lost over the last 40 years.
