CANTON -- The First Presbyterian Church is seeking donations to send to widows in Malawi, Africa for Mother’s Day.
Those who make donations can have it sent in someone else’s name and that person will receive a card for Mother’s Day.
Those who have their donations in by May 4 will be guaranteed to have cards sent by the holiday, which this year is May 10, the church said.
Send donations to First Presbyterian Church, 17 Park St., Canton, NY 13617 and write “Widow’s fund/Mother’s Day” in the memo line.
The donation amount doesn’t appear on the card.
