CANTON -- The Canton Central School Board of Education made several appointments at their Oct. 18 meeting.
• James DiSalvo was appointed as a school bus monitor effective retroactively to Oct. 17 at a rate of $11.10 per hour.
• Timothy Foote was appointed as a school bus monitor effective retroactively to Oct. 17 at a rate of $11.10 per hour.
• Jacqueline Reynolds was appointed as a teacher aid per the needs of the student effective Oct. 22 at a pro-rated salary of $14,175, pending contract negotiations.
• Linda Smith was appointed as a long-term substitute for teaching assistant Connie Bessette effective Oct. 22 through about Dec. 21 at a rate of $11.10 per hour for first 10 days (to be paid $112 per day retroactive to the first 10 consecutive days, which does not include when school is not in session).
