Among the 158 new graduates of the New York State Police Academy are troopers from Canton, Brasher Falls and North Lawrence.
Ryan M. Kocher of Canton, Jennifer J. Phillips of Brasher Falls, and Jordan Winters of North Lawrence are all assigned to Troop B, which includes St. Lawrence County.
The new troopers will report for field duty Nov. 19. For the next 10 weeks the new troopers will be evaluated under a field-training program supervised by senior field training officers.
