CANTON—Dozens of St. Lawrence artists displayed their prints, pottery, clothing and more at the annual Canton Remington Arts Festival Saturday.
The tribute to the life of world-famous artist Frederic Remington, who was born in Canton, took place in the village park downtown as well as at stores and organizations throughout the community.
Re-enactors portraying Mr. and Mrs. Remington toured Canton. The event also featured live entertainment as well as exhibits and other activities at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s Silas Wright House, Nature’s Storehouse and TAUNY.
