Canton 4-H riding club excels at State Fair

The Reintree 4-H Club in Canton enjoyed success in the Hunter/Jumper 4-H Show in Syracuse at the New York State Fair.

The 4-H’ers competed in classes with over 60 of the state’s best riders, coached by 4-H Leader Jerry Dean.

The placings for the St. Lawrence 4-H equestrians follow:

• Equitation on the Flat - Pony – Sabrina Osuch 2nd

• Equitation on the Flat - Junior – Maddy Lawrence 8th and Lydia Maskell 10

• Equitation on the Flat - Senior – Kasey LeManquais 8th

• Hunter Under Saddle - Pony – Sabrina Osuch 8th; Junior – Maddy Lawrence 2nd and Lydia Maskell 1st; Senior – Kasey LeManquais 1st

• Working Hunter - Pony - Sabrina Osuch 1st; Junior, Lydia Maskell 1st; Senior – Kasey LeManquais 10.

• Equitation Over Fences - Pony – Sabrina Osuch 1st; Junior - Lydia Maskell 4th; Senior – Kasey LeManquais 2nd.

• Hunter Hack - Pony - Sabrina Osuch 3rd; Junior – Lydia Maskell 1st; Senior – Kasey LeManquais 2nd
