SOUTH COLTON – A bridge on Morgan Road over Dead Creek on the South Colton Conservation Easement that was damaged in May is not safe, is closed, and will have to be replaced, the Department of Environmental Conservation says.
The gate at the bridge is closed because the bridge has been deemed to be unsafe for public access.
The gate will be unlocked after a new bridge is in place, DEC says.
