POTSDAM -- The state Department of Transportation will be inspecting the two Maple Street bridges over the Raquette River beginning Monday, May 19.
Motorists will encounter lane closures between Market Street and Pine Street, along what DOT calls Route 971.
DOT is warning motorists to expect alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the inspection period.
They expect the inspection to be done on Friday, May 23.
