POTSDAM – Brasher Falls photographer Don Straight created a time-lapse video of SUNY Potsdam’s commencement using nearly 7,000 still images.
Straight said the he used two cameras for to obtain the photos.
“This time lapse of SUNY Potsdam's 2014 undergraduate commencement ceremony was developed from 6,817 full resolution still images captured from two rooftop vantage points,” he said.
Straight said one camera was placed at the southeast corner of the Sheard Literacy Center roof, while the second camera was placed at the southwest corner of the Raymond Hall roof.
“Each shot at four-second intervals for about 3.5 hours,” he said.
Straight said full resolution images of any moment from this video may be requested for printing by contacting Donald C. Straight at hubmub@aol.com.
