BRASHER FALLS -- A Brasher Falls man was held after being charged with statutory rape Wednesday, according to Massena-based state police..

Bruce R. Love, 34, was charged with third degree rape of a victim less than 17 by a perpetrator greater than 21, a class E felony, and acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17, a misdemeanor, according to state police.

Love was charged at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday and was held without bail following an incident reported March 5, police said.
