MASSENA -- Village police say they charged a Walmart employee for letting several customers cash out their orders while making it appear she was ringing in everything but wasn’t.
Victoria L. Davis, 33, of 220 Dullea Road, Brasher Falls is charged with one count of fifth-degree conspiracy and five counts of sixth-degree conspiracy.
She allegedly let customers leave without paying for about $99 in various goods, according to Massena Police Sgt. Adam Love.
He said this allegedly happened over a one-month period.
More arrests are pending as a result of an ongoing investigation, Love said.
Davis will make an appearance in Massena Village Court on a later date.
