BRASHER -- Children living in the Brasher Falls Central School District who are 5 years old on or before Dec. 1 are eligible to register for kindergarten.
Those interested in enrolling can call 389-5131 ext. 1300.
Registration will be held during March in the elementary office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kindergarten registration packets can either be mailed or picked up at the elementary office during regular school hours.
Those signing up a child will need to have:
• Child’s birth certificate
• Social Security card
• The child’s immunization records
• Proof of residency (anything that has the physical home address on it)
• Court order, if applicable
It is not necessary to bring the child to register.
After all information is turned in, an appointment for an April 25, 26 or 27 kindergarten screening will be made.
Pre-Kindergarten Information Night will March 10 at 6 p.m. in the elementary library. Children that will be age 4 on or before Dec. 1 are able to participate in pre-K.
The same information will be needed to register a child and can be brought to the information night.
Copies can be made in the office.
