BRASHER FALLS -- The St. Lawrence Central Backpack program recently received $1,000 to help continue providing weekly snacks to over 150 children.
The program offers healthy, hearty snacks for children in need.
The program also supports the participants’ younger siblings who may not be of school age.
It is available for pre-kindergarten through grade 12 and is supported by donations.
The $1,000 came from Seacomm Federal Credit Union.
