CANTON -- A Brasher Falls man admitted in St. Lawrence County Court today to sexually assaulting a child last summer.
Pierre Bond pleaded guilty to one count of predatory sexual assault against a child.
He will be sentenced on July 14 to 21 years in prison with 20 years of post-release supervision, District Attorney Mary Rain said.
Bond admitted sodomizing and raping a nine-year-old girl last summer.
"The defendant is a sexual predator who needs to be in state prison for the protection of our community," Rain said. "The young lady and her family are pleased that she does not need to testify and they are very apply with the extensive sentence imposed by the court."
