MASSENA -- The Boys and Girls Club of Massena is getting ready for a new school year.
Club Executive Director Debra Donatto says they seek volunteers to assist with activities and provide positive role models for groups of children in grades 3 to 6, starting Sept. 21.
The Boys and Girls Club of Massena offers structured after school activities for children that Donatto describes as “ fun, educational and age-appropriate.”
The program will be at Jefferson Elementary on Mondays and Tuesdays. They will be at Madison Elementary Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Volunteers can lead workshops in areas of interest, or assist staff in making the daily programs a positive experience.
All volunteers must pass a background check prior to working directly with kids.
