POTSDAM – Voracious readers will get a unique opportunity to stock up on their favorite fiction and nonfiction this Saturday when the Friends of the Potsdam Public Library holds a literary free-for-all in the basement of the Potsdam Civic Center.
The Friends of the Library will be giving away thousands of used books of all types – 100 boxes of books in all – from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The books, including hard cover and paperback fiction and nonfiction, were left over from recent book sales conducted by the Friends of the Library and will have to be destroyed if they are not picked up by some bargain-hunting bookworms on Saturday.
Book lovers are encouraged to bring their own boxes to take away their treasures.
