Boobie Sisters Dinner Theater Show raises $6,000 for Gouverneur Business Women Breast Cancer Walk

OGDENSBURG - Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and the Ogdensburg Education Association recently presented the Boobie Sisters Dinner Theater Show at the Oddfellows hall in Ogdensburg.

The proceeds from the event, which netted close to $6,000, served as a fundraiser for the upcoming Gouverneur Business Women Breast Cancer Walk (GBWCW), which will be held May 18, 2013.

Shown in the photo are some of the Boobie Sisters, a group of 12 breast cancer survivors from the Plattsburgh area, who travel around the northeast performing a comical song and dance show, tailored to being a middle-age women and a breast cancer survivor.

Over 320 people were in attendance for the event.
