BOMBAY -- An 18-year-old from Bombay has been charged by state police with theft from a local residence Sunday.
Terry J. Murray Jr., was arraigned on second-degree criminal trespass and petit larceny charges in Bombay Town Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond.
At about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, troopers responded to a residence on State Route 95 in the town of Bombay for a report of a larceny.
The 50-year-old male victim reported that Murray Jr. stole a small amount of cash from inside of his residence.
