OGDENSBURG -- The A. Barton Hepburn Hospital School of Nursing annual luncheon was held recently at the Freight House Restaurant.
Alumnae from the classes of 1946 to 1968 were in attendance.
The Grey Nuns opened the school in 1902. The nuns graduated the first nursing class in 1905.
The school closed with the graduation of the class of 1968.
In the class of 1963 are Bette Leary Deruchia – Massena, Sharron Toth Gaebel, Watertown, Colleen Moran Lago, Ogdensburg, Pat Gilbert Maloney, Saranac Lake, Martha Farrand Valley, Ogdensburg, Karen Hyovalti Ward, Baldwinsville
The class of 1958 included Muriel Bedard Burns, Batavia; Linda Lucas Curran, Moira; Nancy Loucks Degre, Lady Lake, Fl.; Ann Andress Lalonda, Lisbon; Lucie Latulipe LaPlante, Malone; Agnes Wilson Lawrence, New Hope, Ala.; Keith James MacIntire, Raymondville; Patricia Gabriel Murphy, Ogdensburg; and Joyce Tyo Reno, Massena.
The class of 1953 included Bernice LaForty Aldrich – Hermon, Margaret Child Arquiette, Malone, Ellen Seymour Bova, Ogdensburg, Jane Martin Cross, Massena, Therese McCormick Evans, Ogdensburg, Norma Hammill Secours, Massena.
Also attending the event was Margaret Morley Ashley of the class of 1948.
