Assembly candidate Forsythe signing NY Uprising pledges

David Forsythe, candidate for Assembly in the 118th District, says he is signing all three pledges developed by New York Uprising, an organization formed by former Mayor Ed Koch.

The pledges cover three areas of reform, non-partisan independent redistricting, ethics reform, and budget reform.

“I believe that by signing the pledge I give a serious commitment and not just lip services to much needed reform in Albany,” Forsythe said.

“People who know me as a business owner and county legislator know that I have a record of taking action and not just talking the talk. I will take that same commitment to the Assembly,” he said.

Forsythe, a small business owner and St. Lawrence County legislator, is a lifelong resident of the North Country, lives in Lisbon with his wife of 23 years, Paula. They have three children and a grandson.
