LISBON -- 118th Assembly District candidate David Forsythe recently won the support of the St. Lawrence and Jefferson County Republican Committees.

Forsythe is challenging Assemblywoman Addie Russell for her seat in the November election.

St. Lawrence County Chairwomen Nancy Martin said, “David clearly shares the values of the people of the 118th district. He has served his community well as a county legislator and he will certainly continue his fine service in the Assembly.”

Forsythe said, “It has been evident to everyone I speak to that change is needed in Albany. This is the beginning of that change. I look forward to the upcoming campaign and sharing how I plan to make a difference as our next assemblyman.”

Forsythe, a small business owner and St. Lawrence County legislator, is a lifelong resident of the North Country, and lives in Lisbon with his wife of 23 years, Paula.
