I have always worked with people without regard to politics and when I am elected in November I will keep party politics out of our city government.”

He continued, “I promised voters I will fight to lower taxes and bring new businesses and jobs to our city. I will use my experience as a police sergeant and a city councilor to rid our neighborhoods of the heroin and meth dealers who are destroying individuals and families across our community.”

Ashley will appear on the November ballot as the candidate of the Republican, Conservative and Independence Parties.

He won the decision 19 votes to 14 write-ins. The names of the write-in candidates are not named on the St. Lawrence County Board of Elections website.
