FORT COVINGTON -- State police charged a Fort Covington man Thursday for the alleged stabbing two men early Wednesday morning.
Burnest D. Vaughn, 36, of Fort Covington, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, following an alleged stabbing at the Fort Covington Hotel.
Troopers say Kody J. Bingham, 22, and Jorden D. Floyd, 22, both of Fort Covington were stabbed multiple times and transported to the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone for treatment.
Yesterday state police reached out to the public for help in the investigation.
Vaughn was arraigned at the Town of Chateaugay Court and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
