OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education addressed a number of matters relating to district personnel at Monday’s meeting.
The retirement of secondary special education teacher Dale Kirkpatrick, effective June 30, 2018, was approved by the board.
Kevin Pearson was appointed teaching assistant at a salary of $22,555. The resignation of teaching assistant Melissa Willis was also approved.
Heather Haynes was appointed as permanent keyboard specialist.
Two part-time teaching assistants, a part-time food service helper, and several substitute teachers, school nurses and teaching assistants were also appointed at the meeting.
Numerous coaches for the upcoming winter sports season were also appointed by the board at various salaries.
Coaches appointed included John Tebo, boys varsity indoor track and field head coach, $6,604; Dianne Jeneault, girls varsity track and field head coach, $6,604; Christopher McRoberts, boys and girls varsity track and field assistant coach, $4,548; William Mitchell, varsity wrestling head coach, $6,604; Rick Ledwith, modified and junior varsity wrestling head coach, $4,548; Jackie Pinkerton, varsity cheerleading head coach, $6,604; Mark Henry, boys varsity basketball head coach, $6,604; and Scott Sargent, boys junior varsity basketball head coach, $4,548.
Also Douglas Farley, boys 8th grade modified basketball head coach, $3,334; Brooks Brenno, boys 7th grade modified basketball head coach, $2,394; Kyle Bouchard, girls varsity basketball head coach, $3,280; Ryan Farrell, girls junior varsity basketball head coach, $4,042; William Payne, girls 8th grade modified basketball head coach, $2,001; Jon Cole, girls 7th grade modified basketball head coach, $1,805; Jonathan Frederick, boys varsity hockey head coach, $6,064; Matthew Morley, boys varsity hockey assistant coach, $4,458; and Brett Monnat, intramural weight training head coach, $1,092.
The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 20.
